8. skew lines

This is a street sign. This object has lines that are skew. These lines are not parallel and never intersect. The object was found on a street corner. This object is used drivers everywhere to find where theya re going.

10. Non-congruent alternate interior angles

This is a water tower. This water tower holds non-congruent alternate interior angles. The pink angles are alternate interior angles and because the black lines are not parallel these angles are not congruent. This object helps give water to several people and can be found near the town it supplies with water.

6. Adjacent non-supplementary angles

This is a pie. This object holds adjacent non-supplementary angles. These angles are next to each other and do not add up to 180. The object can be found in a kitchen. This object is made by several bakers and normal people around the holiday time. This pie is food industrial specific.

3. Congruent acute or obtuse angles

This is a camping tent. This tent is for people to sleep in the woods, privately. This object holds 2 congruent acute angles in it. This object could be found in many campgrounds when hikers/campers use them. This tent is hospitality industry specific.

9. Segment Bisector

This is a picture. This picture exhibits a segment bisector. The purple line is the segment and the blue line is the bisector which cuts the segment in half. This picture was found in my house. This object is used to add detail and color to a room. Several designers use pictures to accessorize their home's walls.

7. Supplementary angles that are not a linear pair

This is a magazine. This object is and it has supplementary angles that are not a linear pair. These angles add up to 180 but are not a linear pair because linear pairs are only two angles. The object was found in my mailbox. This object is used by marketers to try and sells their products. It is marketing/advertising industry specific .

5. Vertical Angles

This garden wire contains vertical angles. When two lines cross, the angles opposite form each other are vertical angles. The object was found outside in my garden at my house. This object is biotechnology industrial specific because the wire helps things grow. The wire is placed in the ground with a plant and the plant grows up the wire. Lots or gardeners use these to help in the summer and fall.

4. Angle Bisector

This is a fan and it is used to cool off people and things. This object has several angles on it. This angle has a line running straight through it, in the middle. This line is the angle bisector. This object was found in Severn's computer lab. People use fans in the real world to cool themselves, dry things, and cooling down machinery.

2. Line perpendicular to a plane

This is a line that is perpendicular to a plane. This is a cup and a straw. This object displays the line as the lid, and the straw as the line coming out of it, perpendicular to the lid. I found this object in one of our computer labs here at Severn. A cup and a straw is used by many thirsty people in this world. :)

1. Parallel Coplaner Lines

This building contains 3 parallel lines that are coplaner. Parallel lines are lines where their endpoints go on forever without intersecting. In order for the lines to be coplaner their end points must be on the same plane, as shown in this picture. Bricks are used to build solitary structures. Construction companies used bricks to build structures.
